The large fit my husband, chest 44" perfectly. His arms are longer than normal, and the sleeves actually fit! The fact that they are meant to cuff provided the extra length. He is slim, but muscled and there is room in the shirt for more mass, without it being baggy on slimmer frames. The material is textured, which makes this possible to wear in less formal settings, as well as for dress wear. Construction is good. None of the clothes we ordered had any chemical or perfumy smells to them, thank you.
