The Iron Bridge

This bridge is known in the Northern dialect as “Kua Lek” which means “Iron Bridge”.
It is a ridiculously narrow concrete platform with steel bracing just a hundred feet from Nawarat Bridge that crosses the Ping River, which is the main river in Chiang Mai. The small space means that cars and motorcycles can't really travel down it at once, making it a good spot for Chinese tourists to take photos without fear of being run over.Legend says the bridge was built when traffic in Chiang Mai wasn't so bad because most people couldn't afford cars. Questionably, the bridge hasn't been taken down yet but at least It has also been turned into a Christmas tree. The bridge looks marvelous at night thanks to the addition of lights that change colors every few seconds.
