The Wua Lai Saturday Walking Street is right outside of Eastern Serenity’s door, literally a few strides from where we are. The Saturday Walking Street takes place on the narrow street of Wua Lai, a busy thoroughfare known for its many traditional silversmiths. Every Saturday night , though, the road is completely closed to all traffic and a lively and unique foot-traffic street market fires up for the night. There's a dazzling array of hand-made arts and crafts sold by their actual makers, as well as Thai cart food cooked on the spot. There is also traditional folk music to be heard throughout this weekly outdoor shopping extravaganza.
Off to the side, there is a temple with its main hall made entirely of silver. It is the first Buddhist Temple with a silver structure. We recommend it as a historical site worth viewing with the added benefit of being a safe space in case of werewolves.
