All our Kapok filled meditation cushions are hand stitched by the skilled hand of artisans in Northern Thailand. The Kapok filling is used as it pliable, molding to the shape of your body, while providing excellent support to your lower back. Kapok filling is extremely durable and adaptable to various environments and changed in temperature.

Asian décor is truly unique as it doesn’t not fit with trends, it is constantly in style – the same methods that were used centuries ago, are painstakingly undertaken on each of our products. Our blend of traditional bronze cast rain drums to exceptionally modern lotus fabric lighting provide the finest standard in style and substance that Asian décor has to offer.

Asian Wall Art

Asian Wall Art: Each piece of Oriental Wall Art is authentically hand carved using traditional techniques passed down through generations of skilled artisans. The pieces are made in teak wood, tropical Thai wood and cast stone. The tropical wood is fumigated and oven-dried, removing pests and enhancing their weather resistant properties. The basic outline of our wood wall art is made using large chisels and block hammers. The finer details are then carved into the wood piece using detailing tools, fine sanding, and intricate brushwork. The base teak is sourced from registered suppliers who reclaim teak from structures such as old barns and homesteads. It is then intricately hand carved, into detailed floral patterns and other traditional styles. The carved teak is then given a protective light, clear-lacquer coat that acts as a pest repellant and increases durability.

Each of our handmade and cast bronze Buddha statues has deep spiritual undertones, symbolic of the religious passion felt in the region of South East Asia. Buddha Statues are said to offer the owner protection from evil spirits and bad karma as well attracting good fortunes; wealth, health and luck. Each individual Buddha statue has a unique meaning, bringing varieties of luck or protection from different spirits. The varying designs and their symbolic meaning are extremely subtle. For instance, if the left hand hangs down by the hips this represents peaceful intentions and protection, if both hands are hanging toward the waist this represents balance.
